The rules of the race.

By creating an account, submitting information, buying a product or using a Hot Lap service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you act for a company or venue, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

Hot Lap provides sim racing rig leasing, rentals, events, installations and Racing Control software. Features may include operator controls, timing, session limits, results, driver accounts and leaderboards. Specific deliverables for a rental, lease, event or installation are controlled by the written quote, order or service agreement for that job.

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure and tell us promptly about unauthorized use. Driver accounts follow a driver across participating venues. Business organizations are for venue owners, event companies and authorized staff. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for removing staff who should no longer have access.

A Racing Control purchase grants one perpetual license seat for one active rig at a time. The license does not expire and has no recurring software subscription fee. It may be moved to genuine replacement hardware through the customer account or Hot Lap support, subject to reasonable anti-abuse checks.

The license does not include a racing game, downloadable content, hardware, internet service, a game publisher's commercial-use permission or rights to future paid products. Supported simulators and features may change by version. Assetto Corsa is the first supported integration; other telemetry-enabled titles will be added only where Hot Lap completes the integration and appropriate commercial licensing is available.

Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases. The advertised $99 offer is a launch price against a planned $129 standard price. Purchases are one-time unless an order clearly says otherwise. Taxes may be added where required. Payments are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe's terms.

Digital delivery occurs through the purchasing organization's account. Downloads may expire and setup codes are single use. Except where law requires otherwise, activated digital licenses are final sale. Before activation, contact support@hotlapsim.com and we will review cancellation or refund requests. If activation or delivery is defective, we will first work to repair, replace or reissue access.

Hot Lap is not affiliated with or endorsed by a game publisher unless we say so in writing. Operators are responsible for obtaining and maintaining every simulator, content, hardware and commercial-use license required for their venue, event and territory. Our software's technical compatibility does not grant commercial rights to use a third-party game.

Motorsport telemetry and consumer hardware can produce incomplete or incorrect data. Results, gaps and leaderboards are entertainment and event-operation tools, not official motorsport timing. Venues control local competition rules. Hot Lap may correct, hide or remove clearly invalid, fraudulent or abusive results.

You may not misuse the service, evade rig-seat limits, duplicate credentials, submit fabricated telemetry, interfere with security, scrape protected data, impersonate another person, upload unlawful content or use Hot Lap to harm people or systems. You must follow applicable laws and venue rules.

Hot Lap and its licensors retain all rights in the software, site, brand, designs and service. You retain rights in information you submit. You give Hot Lap the limited permission needed to host, process and display that information to provide the service, including authorized leaderboards and driver results.

We aim to keep Hot Lap reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every game update, mod, computer or peripheral. Local Racing Control features are designed to reduce dependence on the network. Online services, integrations and support may be changed to protect security, comply with law or improve the product.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hot Lap services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms removes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Hot Lap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profit, lost revenue, business interruption or lost data. Hot Lap's total liability relating to a claim will not exceed the amount you paid Hot Lap for the affected product or service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an account or online feature for material breach, fraud, security risk, nonpayment or unlawful use. A perpetual desktop license may be terminated if the license terms are materially breached and the breach is not cured after notice where a cure is reasonably possible.

If one part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms, the EULA and any written order form the agreement for the relevant service. Applicable law and courts are those of the place where Hot Lap has its principal business office, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
